Although Vinylphile accepts paid advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions, and other forms of compensation, compensation will never influence our content, especially reviews. The views expressed are purely the writers’ own. The purchase of an ad or other promotion does not guarantee a review or placement at the head of the review queue. Similarly, purchasing an ad or other promotion never guarantees a positive review. Additionally, any links within a review are included solely at the Publisher’s discretion.

Unless otherwise noted, all review prices are in US Dollars.

Review Equipment Procurement

All requests for review products by reviewers or manufacturers must go through our office before a review is confirmed.

Manufacturers, distributors, authorised dealers, or organising agencies must arrange and pay for two-way shipping, taxes, and any import duties between the country of origin and the our writer’s address. The review unit should ship with all retail packaging, manuals, and accessories, and will be required for about 3 months.

When the review is completed, the equipment is either:

  1. Returned to the manufacturer or distributor;

  2. Purchased by the reviewer at accomodation pricing; or

  3. Offered to the magazine for an extended loan (in which case the gear will be shared with the team and returned to the manufacturer or distributor at their request or at the Publisher’s direction).
